Propose pairings controls

One player per line as "Name, score". The score may be a whole number or a half point such as 3.5, and a line without a comma counts as zero. Up to 16 players.

One fixture per line as "Name > Opponent". A line such as "Name > bye" records a bye. Fixtures are read in both directions, so you only need each game once.

The most pairing attempts to try before the result is reported as exhausted. Larger values search longer on awkward fields.

Options

Standings
Scores are supplied by you; result history does not recalculate them. Equal scores use the documented ordering.
History and search
Previously entered opponents cannot meet again. The finite search tries eligible bye choices and reports exhaustion separately from ruled-out arrangements.

Supported inputs and limits

Small informal fields and finite history/search only. No official federation certification, optimal score-gap guarantee or automatic results collection. 2 to 16 players and up to 400 history lines. Enter scores as whole or half points; history does not recalculate them. Search steps: 1–500000.

A valid next round is not an official Swiss system

The helper finds one pairing under its score-order and history rules. It does not allocate chess colors or implement every federation condition. Keep standings and history with the exported proposal, then apply the tournament rules used by your organizer.
