Supported inputs and limits

Up to 8,000 input characters, containing exactly seven ordered day rows, Monday through Sunday, with five pipe-separated cells: day, breakfast, lunch, dinner and groceries. Each cell is limited to 150 characters; meals and grocery notes may be empty. A4 or US Letter PDF uses measured wrapping and standard WinAnsi fonts. Unsupported characters or a row that cannot fit are refused. CSV formula-leading cells receive an apostrophe. The planner keeps entered grocery notes without combining quantities, suggesting meals or storing a history.

Empty cells are deliberate spaces for planning

Keep the seven days in order and retain all five pipe-separated cells even when a meal is undecided. A blank breakfast or grocery cell stays available on the sheet. Entering the same ingredient on several days does not automatically combine quantities into a deduplicated shopping list.

A plan records meals rather than prescribing nutrition

The tool lays out your entered breakfasts, lunches, dinners and grocery notes. It does not calculate nutrients, portions, allergies or dietary suitability. Check recipes and any personal requirements separately. Print a sample at actual size when you need to write in the blank cells; changing paper size affects the sheet, not the meals.

Questions about Meal Planner Maker

Does the planner choose meals for me?

It lays out the meals you enter. It does not prescribe nutrition, analyse allergies or generate a dietary plan.

Are repeated grocery items combined?

The grocery column keeps the note attached to its day. Do not assume it has merged quantities or produced a deduplicated shopping list.

Can a pipe character appear inside a meal name?

The stated input format uses pipes as column boundaries. Follow its parsing rules and replace a separator that would split a meal into another cell.

How can I edit next week's plan?

Keep the entered rows or exported CSV. Change the days' meals and create another sheet; the page does not keep an online meal-planning history.
