Transpose chart controls

Put each chord in square brackets before the syllable it lands on. Use --- on its own line to start a new song. Section labels such as [Chorus] are kept as written.

Positive moves up, negative moves down. Range -12 to +12.

Auto keeps flats flat and sharps sharp where the note has both spellings.

A supported chord symbol is still part of a musical context

Enharmonic spellings can represent the same pitch while reading differently to a musician. Review the selected spelling and the full chart after transposition. Unsupported chord syntax is refused rather than guessed; melody, voicing and instrument tuning are outside this operation.
