One browser-decodable MP4/MOV-family or WebM video. Up to 256 MiB, 60 minutes, 8.3 megapixels, one video track and at most one audio track. The full clip must be no more than 10 minutes and contain a supported audio track.

How to use Local Video Audio Extractor

    1. Select a video with a supported audio track.
    2. Start extraction with the page visible and wait for the native recording to finish.
    3. Listen to the audio-only WebM and review its measured duration before downloading.

    Example: Local Video Audio Extractor

Create an audio-only file from a video with sound.

    You add
Source: a two-second supported WebM containing one video track and one 440 Hz tone audio track.
    You get
The audio-only WebM contains one audio track and no video track. Playback reproduces the source tone with browser-dependent recording timing.

    Supported inputs and limits

Records the decoded audio as WebM/Opus; it does not copy the original compressed audio stream. Use a browser-decodable MP4/MOV-family or WebM with one video track and at most one audio track. Total selected input: 256 MiB; source frames: 8,294,400 pixels (4K). Sources may be up to 60 minutes, but whole-clip jobs require a clip of 10 minutes or less. Selected or combined output: up to 10 minutes and 128 MiB, 2,073,600 pixels (1080p) and 1,920 pixels per side. Recording runs in real time and the page must stay visible. WebM export re-encodes the media, so quality, frame timing and sound timing depend on the browser and device. Metadata, subtitles and extra tracks are not preserved. Seek cues are not built; check playback before using the file. Larger jobs need more device memory.

    Extraction here re-records decoded sound

The browser exposes decoded video audio and records a new WebM audio stream. The original encoded audio packets are not copied, so this is not a lossless demux. An unsupported codec or unavailable audio track is refused rather than replaced with silence. It does not create MP3 output.

    Check the entire short result

Listen at both ends for missing sound and check the measured duration. Browser playback and recording clocks can differ from the source timeline. The full source must fit the short-output bounds; this page is not a long-video extraction service and does not upload a file to a fallback converter.
