48 kHz mono/stereo RIFF WAV only, 0.4-600 seconds and up to 128 MiB. PCM16/24/32 or float32.

How to use Audio Loudness and True-Peak Meter

    1. Select a 48 kHz mono or stereo WAV lasting at least 0.4 seconds.
    2. Run the measurement and read integrated loudness alongside the gating and channel details.
    3. Save the report and check true peak separately before choosing any gain change.

    You add
Source: a one-second, 48 kHz mono PCM16 WAV containing only zero samples.
    You get
The summary and text identify silence and report no finite integrated loudness. Integrated loudness, sample peak and true peak are null in the JSON report for this input.

    Understand what gating leaves out

Integrated loudness uses ITU-R BS.1770-5 K-weighting and absolute/relative gating. Quiet sections below the gates do not contribute in the same way as an ordinary full-file average. Read the declared standard, block counts and gates when comparing reports from different meters.

True peak and sample peak answer different questions

Interpolation estimates peaks between stored samples. That estimate can exceed the largest sample value. The report does not change your WAV or establish compliance with a broadcaster or platform requirement; compare its stated scope with the measurement required for delivery.

Questions about Audio Loudness and True-Peak Meter

Is this a certified broadcast meter?

No. It implements the declared bounded measurement method and reports its limits; it has no certification or full EBU Mode claim.

    Can I upload a 44.1 kHz recording?

No. This meter accepts 48 kHz input only and does not silently resample other rates.

    Is my input uploaded?

    Nothing is uploaded.
