How to use Stereo Channel Splitter and Router

    2. Select Two separate mono WAVs, or choose a source for each side of mapped stereo output.
    3. Run the routing and check both downloads or both sides of the stereo file.

Example: Stereo Channel Splitter and Router

    Separate two different test tones.

    You add
One-second stereo WAV at 48 kHz, with a 440 Hz left channel and an 880 Hz right channel. Channel output: Two separate mono WAVs.
    You get
Two one-second mono WAVs contain the respective left and right signals. The report identifies their source channels; no downmix averaging is applied.

Routing is a selection, not a stereo repair

Each output channel can use original left, original right or silence. Mapping left to both sides creates dual mono; it does not recover information missing from the right side. Swapping channels changes their placement without correcting phase, balance or microphone timing.

    Review the second download too

The audition control plays the first rendered WAV. In split mode, open the second file separately to check the other channel. Both outputs preserve the input sample rate and duration, while their sample precision is reduced to PCM16.

Questions about Stereo Channel Splitter and Router

Does splitting combine the two signals?

No. Each mono download takes one input channel. Use mapped stereo output for duplication or swapping.

Can I listen to both split files on this page?

The audition control plays the first rendered file. Open the second download separately to check its channel.

    Is my input uploaded?

    Nothing is uploaded.
