Pick 2-8 matching mono/stereo WAVs. Combined selection: 128 MiB, 600 seconds. All rates and channel counts must match.

offset seconds, gain dB, mute (0 plays, 1 mutes). Rows follow the displayed file order.

How to use Multitrack Audio Mixer

    1. Select two to eight WAVs and check the displayed file order.
    2. Enter one offset, gain and mute row per file; use the same order as the selection.
    3. Mix the tracks, audition the first and last transitions and save the WAV and project.

    Example: Multitrack Audio Mixer

Make two matching tracks overlap for half a second.

    You add
    Two one-second mono WAVs at 48 kHz. Track rows: 0, -6, 0 and 0.5, -6, 0.
    You get
The PCM16 output lasts 1.500 seconds. Both tracks play during 0.500–1.000 seconds; the project records each offset, gain and mute value.

    Supported inputs and limits

    Selected files128 MiB total
    Supported duration600 seconds
Two to eight supported WAVs with matching sample rates and channel counts. Combined input: 128 MiB and 600 seconds; rendered timeline also at most 600 seconds. No automatic resampling or loudness matching. Peaks above sample full scale trigger a global headroom reduction.

    Leave headroom where tracks overlap

Samples are added after each track gain. Two signals can peak higher together even if each source is below full scale. The tool reports the requested peak and reduces the whole mix by a single headroom gain when needed to fit sample full scale. That adjustment preserves relative track levels, but it is not loudness matching, compression or a true-peak limiter.

A saved project needs its source files

The JSON keeps track names, order and settings, rather than embedding audio. Select the same files in the same order when reusing its rows. Muting a track stops its contribution; it does not delete the source or make a long offset fit inside the timeline limit.

    Questions about Multitrack Audio Mixer

Can I mix recordings with different sample rates?

No. Convert them to matching WAV rates and channels before selecting them here.

Does the project include my recordings?

No. Its JSON contains track settings. Reusing it requires selecting the same source WAVs in the same order.

    Is my input uploaded?

    Nothing is uploaded.
