Options
- Sound mode
- Replace uses the WAV; Mix combines active base sound and WAV; Remove all audio tracks produces silent video.
- Original and WAV gains
- These are linear amplitude multipliers. Their active sum must be at most 1; the tool does not automatically normalize loudness.
Supported inputs and limits
Where your input is processed
This tool processes your input in this browser. Your text and files are not uploaded to UseFreeTools. Check this tool's limits for anything it may save on your device.
Offsets use the output timeline
A positive soundtrack offset delays its start. A negative value skips that many seconds from the beginning of the WAV. The video source-start control is separate: changing it chooses another video segment without automatically changing the soundtrack offset.
Mixing can overload the result
Two audible sources can add above full scale. Lower gains and listen during their overlap; this is not a mastering limiter or automatic ducking system. Silent mode removes audio tracks, while a silent part of a replacement soundtrack still belongs to its exported audio track.
