    Example: Multi-page TIFF Converter

A local worked example using the inputs and settings below for multi-page tiff converter.

    You add
Classic TIFF file: ["two-pages.tiff (402 bytes)"] Pages to export: ""
    You get
    Converted 2 of 2 TIFF pages to PNG. 1 | 3 | 2 | Uncompressed 2 | 3 | 2 | PackBits two-pages-page-001.png (3 × 2 pixels) two-pages-page-002.png (3 × 2 pixels)

    Options

    Page selection
Page numbers start at one. An empty selection exports every supported stored page within the total decoded-pixel bound.
    Supported TIFF subset
The converter accepts the documented classic, chunky 8-bit formats and compression. Unsupported layouts are refused rather than skipped silently.

    Supported inputs and limits

Classic TIFF only, uncompressed or PackBits chunky 8-bit RGB/grayscale, at most 64 MiB, 20 pages and 16 megapixels total. Page numbers start at one. BigTIFF, other compression, color models, merge/rewrite and unsupported strip layouts are refused. Review page appearance and format limits.

    Where your input is processed

This tool processes your input in this browser. Your text and files are not uploaded to UseFreeTools. Check this tool's limits for anything it may save on your device.

Separate PNGs lose the TIFF container

Page images are exported independently, without a merged or rewritten multipage TIFF. Check page count, orientation and appearance before sharing. Preserve the source file when metadata or unsupported structures are needed.
