Options

Supported syntax
Use the shown heading, list, table and code-block forms. Unsupported syntax may remain literal rather than receiving the behavior of another Markdown renderer.
Raw HTML and images
Raw HTML remains text, and preview images do not contact their URLs. The preview therefore differs from a publisher that enables HTML or remote images.

Supported inputs and limits

Up to 100,000 characters and 2,000 blocks in the documented subset. Raw HTML stays text, images do not make network requests, and unsupported syntax may remain literal. Formatting is not a complete CommonMark conformance check.

Preview is specific to this renderer

Inspect the normalized source as well as the visual preview. A destination can interpret tables, links and line breaks differently. Keep the original text until you have checked the result in the application where it will be published.

Questions about Markdown Preview and Formatter

Can the preview run pasted scripts?

No. The supported preview creates text and allowed structural elements. Raw HTML remains text.

Will normalization rewrite my wording?

It changes supported structural formatting, not the words inside paragraphs. Review the output before replacing your source.

Can the preview load external images?

No. It does not fetch remote image URLs.
