A chart count is not a garment-size calculation

Gauge, yarn, shaping and finishing affect a physical piece. The page organizes your supplied symbols and repeats; it does not predict fit or replace a pattern’s instructions. Keep the legend with the printed chart so each symbol retains its intended meaning.

Questions about Knitting Chart and Stitch-Count Builder

Does it infer stitches from a photo?

No. You enter the symbol rows.

What do the counts describe?

Symbol occurrences and stitches consumed and produced by each expanded row. These counts do not prove that successive rows form a valid pattern.

Can it choose a garment size?

No. Gauge and fit remain outside this chart builder.
