Draw dieline controls

Only these two flat layouts are generated. Both are reviewed patterns, not tested assemblies.

Wall depth for a tray; side height for a carton.

Added to the cut base so folded panels clear thick card or board. Use 0 for a paper test fit.

The net must fit the sheet with a margin; an oversized net is refused.

How to use Packaging Dieline Generator

  1. Enter the supported box family and dimensions in millimeters.
  2. Set the material allowance, paper size and label settings.
  3. Check the downloaded cut/fold pattern and calibration mark before cutting a paper sample.

Example: Packaging Dieline Generator

Draw a dimensioned cut-and-fold pattern for the supported paper-box scope, with distinct cut, fold and tab markings.

You add
Box family: tray Base length (mm): 120 Base width (mm): 90 Depth or height (mm): 40 Material allowance (mm): 0.4 Sheet size: a3 Print panel and fold labels: on
You get
Built a tray net with 16 cut and 12 fold segments on 201.2 × 171.2 mm.

Options

Dimensions
All entered lengths use millimeters. The supported geometry must fit its declared drawing bounds.
Cut and fold marks
Read the line legend before cutting. Tabs and folds have different roles even when their paths are close together.

Supported inputs and limits

Supported bounded paper pattern geometry only. No production packaging tolerances, load rating or guaranteed closure for an arbitrary material. Open tray or rectangular carton only. The net must fit A4 or A3 with calibration and footer margins. Labels that cannot fit a small panel are omitted. Base length (mm): 20–600. Base width (mm): 20–600. Depth or height (mm): 10–400. Material allowance (mm): 0–2. PDF text uses the supported built-in font character set; unsupported characters are refused rather than silently replaced.

Check a paper sample before using thicker material

Material thickness, fold allowance, adhesive and printer scaling affect assembly. This tool draws its stated geometry and does not account for every manufacturing process. Print at the intended scale, measure the calibration mark and assemble a small sample first.

Questions about Packaging Dieline Generator

Are the values millimeters?

Yes. Use the declared millimeter dimensions consistently.

Should I cut every line?

No. Follow the separate cut, fold and tab legend.

Is it ready for commercial manufacturing?

It is a paper-project pattern; material and process tolerances need separate review.
