JPEG, PNG or WebP, up to 64 MiB and 24 megapixels.

Aspect ratio is kept. The resulting repeat grid stays below 2 megapixels.

How to use Image Seamless Tile Preview

    1. Upload a supported texture tile.
    2. Choose a bounded repeat grid.
    3. Inspect neighboring edges and download the repeated sample if needed.

    Example: Image Seamless Tile Preview

A local worked example using the inputs and settings below for texture repetition.

    You add
Tile image: ["sample.png (348 bytes)"] Repeats in each direction: "3" Longest side of each preview tile (px): "256"
    You get
    Created a 3 by 3 repeat preview, 768 by 576 pixels. tile-repeat-preview.png (768 × 576 pixels)

    Options

    Repeat count
Choose two to four copies along each side. This shows neighboring edges without modifying the source seam.
    Tile size
The selected size controls the sampled preview tile. Resizing can affect how visible an edge mismatch appears.

    Supported inputs and limits

JPEG, PNG or WebP, 64 MiB and 24 megapixels. Repeat grids are 2–4 tiles per side, with each tile’s longest side 16–512 pixels and output capped at 2 megapixels. Neighboring edges are shown; this tool does not blend, repair seams or guarantee seamlessness.

    Inspect both adjoining directions

A texture can align horizontally while retaining a visible vertical seam. Check repeated edges at the intended scale. The exported sample neither blends edges nor establishes an edge-free repeat at another size.

Questions about Image Seamless Tile Preview

    Does this remove visible seams?

No. It shows repeats so you can inspect them.

    Why inspect neighboring edges?

Edges that differ become visible where adjacent copies meet.

Is the download a new texture tile?

It is a repeated sample. Keep the original tile for use in your actual design.
