How to use Body Measurement Journal
- Paste dated measurements with a name, value and unit on each tab-separated row. Keep one name for each measurement.
- Review the first entry, later changes and the unit retained for each series. A single entry has no comparison yet.
- Download CSV for rows, JSON to continue editing later, or PDF for a printable copy. Review exports before sharing them.
Example: Body Measurement Journal
Review a weight change and a separate waist entry.
Options
- Measurement names
- A name groups the series without interpreting it. Different names remain separate even when both use kilograms.
- Compatible units
- kg, lb and st are mass units; cm and in are length units. A single named series cannot mix the two dimensions.

Keep measurements comparable
A measurement name groups its records, so use the same name for the same measurement and take it consistently. Weight and circumference have different dimensions and cannot share one series. The report compares entered values; it does not estimate body fat, classify health or decide whether a change is desirable.
Questions about Body Measurement Journal
Can I mix pounds and kilograms?
Yes, within one mass measurement. The report converts compatible units and keeps the first unit used by that measurement. It refuses a name that mixes mass and length.
Does the journal interpret a change?
No. It shows the difference between entered values without assigning a health label or recommending a target.
How do I continue later?
Download the JSON project and import it on this page. Review the restored rows before adding new entries. The CSV and PDF are separate exports for review.
