Options

- Full justification distributes spaces on interior lines and keeps the paragraph’s final line left aligned. Splitting long words is a separate choice.

Where your input is processed
This tool processes your input in this browser. Your text and files are not uploaded to UseFreeTools. Check this tool's limits for anything it may save on your device.
Alignment inserts real spaces and line breaks
This changes the plain text rather than an editor’s display setting. Blank lines separate paragraphs; wrapping can join original single line breaks. Review the result in a monospace view before replacing a file whose spacing carries meaning.
Questions about Text Alignment and Justification Tool
Why does the aligned result change in a proportional font?
This tool counts code points and inserts ordinary spaces. A proportional font gives letters different visual widths. Use a monospace view for the intended arrangement.
Is the last line of a justified paragraph stretched?
No. Only interior lines receive extra spaces; the final line remains left aligned.
What happens to a word longer than my width?
The long-word option determines whether it is split. Check the result, especially for URLs or identifiers that should stay together.
