How to use Resume Builder
- Start with your name and, if you want one, a one-line headline. Add the contact details you are happy to publish.
- Fill in any sections you need: professional summary, experience, education, skills, and certifications or projects.
- Select Build resume and download the PDF. Read the printed page once and check the page count before you send it.

Supported inputs and limits
Where your input is processed
This tool processes your input in this browser. Your text and files are not uploaded to UseFreeTools. Check this tool's limits for anything it may save on your device.
What keeps a plain resume readable
A single column of standard-font text is easy for both a person and a parser to follow, which is why this builder draws lines of text rather than a designed layout. The name is the largest item on the page, the contact details sit directly beneath it, and every heading uses the same size so a reader can scan the left edge. Because the words are drawn in their reading order, copying a sentence out of the finished PDF gives back that sentence rather than fragments of a layout.
Questions about Resume Builder
Will this resume pass an applicant tracking system?
That depends on the system and on what the employer asks for. The file is a single column of standard-font text with no images or text boxes, which most readers handle, but tracking systems differ in how they parse and rank resumes. Read the job advert before you send it.
Why is there a three-page limit?
The builder writes at most three pages. When your sections need more room than that, trim the longest one and build again; the tool refuses the run rather than shrinking your text, so the printed page stays readable.
Can the experience box hold more than one job?
Yes, it is free text. Write one block per role with the employer, job title, dates and what changed while you were there, then leave a blank line between blocks so the printed page keeps them apart.
Are my details uploaded anywhere?
No. The sections stay in this browser tab and the PDF is written on your device. Closing or reloading the page clears the form.
