How to use Email Signature Generator

  1. Enter the name and email address you want recipients to see.
  2. Add an optional role, organization, phone and full https website address.
  3. Choose an accent colour and HTML markup or plain text.
  4. Copy the result into your email client's signature settings, send a test to yourself, and check the result.

Example: Email Signature Generator

Make a compact signature for a sample designer.

You add
Name Alex Morgan; Role Designer; Organization Example Studio; Email [email protected]; Phone +1 555 0100; Website https://example.com; Slate; HTML markup.
You get
HTML table markup with Alex Morgan, a mailto link for [email protected], a phone link and the example.com website link.

Supported inputs and limits

Names, roles, contact details and website entries are limited to 160 characters each. The website must be https, and the signature uses text links only: no logo upload, remote image, tracking pixel or script. Mail clients support HTML differently, so line spacing and colours can change after pasting. A generated signature does not verify that a person, address or organization is genuine, and this page does not send email.

Where your input is processed

This tool processes your input in this browser. Your text and files are not uploaded to UseFreeTools. Check this tool's limits for anything it may save on your device.

Keep a plain-text option

Some recipients view messages without HTML, and some signature editors strip parts of pasted markup. The plain-text output keeps the same contact details readable without styling. Both outputs use only what you enter locally; neither uploads a logo or sends a test message for you.

Questions about Email Signature Generator

Where do I paste the HTML?

Use your mail client's signature editor if it accepts HTML markup. Some clients paste the code as text; in that case use Plain text or a client-specific HTML import method.

Will the signature look identical in every inbox?

No. Email clients can change fonts, line spacing and link colours. Send yourself a test message in the clients your recipients use.

Does this add a logo or tracking image?

No. It generates a text-only table with optional email, phone and website links.

Can I use an http website?

The website field asks for https. Leave it blank if you do not have a secure website URL to link.
