Check whether the agreement uses marginal tiers
For 15,000 of sales, tiers of 10,000 at 5% and the remainder at 8% produce 500 plus 400. This differs from applying 8% to the entire amount after reaching a threshold. Returns, clawbacks and payment timing are outside the calculation; enter an adjusted eligible amount when appropriate.
