Code Language Converter
Translate a code snippet to another language or runtime and review compatibility notes.
Fill in the fields, then submit when you are ready.

Your result will appear here after you submit and complete verification.
How to use Code Language Converter
- Paste Source code and name its Source language. Keep the snippet small enough to review with its dependencies and expected inputs.
- Specify Target language and Target runtime and version. In Conversion requirements, include any interface, library, numeric type or rounding behavior that must be retained.
- Select Draft converted code and complete browser verification when prompted. Read the converted draft alongside Compatibility notes and Proposed manual behavior checks.
- Test normal and boundary inputs in your own source and target environments before adopting the draft. The tool has not compiled, executed or compared their results.
Example: Code Language Converter
Translate a small function while keeping its intended behavior visible.
Options
- Target runtime
- Name a version or platform such as Python 3 or a browser JavaScript environment. Language syntax alone does not describe available libraries or runtime behavior.
- Conversion requirements
- State constraints such as no extra libraries, a required interface, exact integers or a money-rounding rule. For approximate numeric results, describe the tolerance you intend to test rather than assuming identical output.
Supported inputs and limits
- Source code allows 5,000 characters.
- This produces a translation draft, not a compiled or executed conversion.
- Numeric behavior, exceptions, library APIs and concurrency can differ.
- The site does not install dependencies or test visitor code.
Where your input is processed
Your input is uploaded to this site and sent to a configured AI provider. If a provider fails, the request may be sent to the next eligible provider. Check its result before use. Private inputs and results expire within one hour and are excluded from site backups; temporary files are removed by scheduled cleanup. Provider retention rules may differ. Avoid submitting passwords or highly sensitive information.
Compare behavior at language boundaries
Compare normal inputs, then empty values, missing keys, integer ranges and error handling. Numeric types need particular attention: Python integers can exceed the exact-integer range of JavaScript Number, so matching syntax does not establish matching results. Check the types the source actually accepts and the precision the task needs. Use the proposed behavior checks as a test plan in the target runtime; they are not evidence that a conversion was run or passed.
Questions about Code Language Converter
Can it convert an entire application?
It handles a bounded snippet. Applications also depend on build systems, configuration, frameworks and external services that must be reviewed separately.
Are all language pairs supported equally?
No. Output quality varies with the language, runtime and source complexity. Review idioms and dependency availability in the target environment.
Why are behavior checks included?
They identify source-backed behaviors to test after translation. They are proposed checks, not evidence that a test has run or passed.
