Your result will appear here after you submit and complete verification.
How to use Code Assistant
- Paste a small code snippet, name its language and choose explain, review or fix.
- Describe the surrounding context and expected behavior where needed.
- Select Review code, complete verification and compare findings and proposed changes with your source.
Example: Code Assistant
Review a small function against its intended behavior.
Options
- Mode
- Explain describes behavior, review identifies candidate issues, and fix adds a proposed replacement. These modes share the same source and evidence checks.
- Expected behavior
- State what should happen on normal and boundary inputs. This helps distinguish a real defect from an intentional implementation choice.
Supported inputs and limits
- Code allows 7,000 characters.
- The site never executes the snippet or the returned code.
- Findings may be mistaken and fixes may introduce defects.
- Remove secrets and private data before submission, then review and test changes in your own environment.
Where your input is processed
Your input is uploaded to this site and sent to a configured AI provider. If a provider fails, the request may be sent to the next eligible provider. Check its result before use. Private inputs and results expire within one hour and are excluded from site backups; temporary files are removed by scheduled cleanup. Provider retention rules may differ. Avoid submitting passwords or highly sensitive information.
Describe the failure with a small example
A clear input, expected result and observed result often reveal more than a broad request to improve code. Keep the example small enough to inspect and include relevant language or runtime details. Read each finding against its quoted source before changing anything. A fix draft is most useful when you can explain why it works and add a meaningful test for the original problem.
Questions about Code Assistant
Does this scan a whole repository?
No files or repositories are fetched. Include the relevant snippet and enough context to explain its dependencies.
Are security findings verified?
They are review suggestions with source excerpts, not a penetration test or assurance that the snippet is free of vulnerabilities.
Will a proposed fix preserve every behavior?
No. Compare the draft with expected behavior, existing tests and platform constraints before adopting it.
