How to use Responsive Table Generator

  1. Paste a small table and enter its caption.
  2. Choose the mobile presentation.
  3. Download or copy the escaped HTML and CSS, then test it in your page.

Example: Responsive Table Generator

CSV Name,Role with Ada,Developer, using scroll presentation.

You add
Table data: Name,Role Ada,Developer Delimiter: comma Table caption: Team roles Mobile presentation: scroll
You get
Generated 1 row and 2 columns with scroll mobile styling.

Options

Delimiter and headers
Choose the separator used by the data. The first row becomes the column headers; every following row must have the same number of cells.
Mobile presentation
Scroll keeps the table wide inside its wrapper. Stacked and card presentations change the narrow-screen layout, so inspect labels and long values in the host page.

Supported inputs and limits

Bounded rectangular input, with generated source rather than arbitrary HTML execution. Cell data is escaped as text. Responsive styling still needs testing in your host page, including screen-reader and keyboard behavior. CSV or TSV up to 50,000 characters, 200 data rows and 20 columns. Headers are at most 100 characters, cells 1,000 and the caption 160. Rename the fixed IDs if embedding more than one generated table. Standalone demo files block scripts and network requests.

Where your input is processed

Test the table where it will be embedded

A standalone demo can show the chosen presentation, but the surrounding site can add competing CSS and different available space. Retain the caption and header relationships, check keyboard access to horizontally scrolling content and rename fixed IDs when embedding more than one table. Cells are escaped as text; the generator does not run supplied markup.

Questions about Responsive Table Generator

Will pasted HTML run in a cell?

No. It is escaped and displayed as text in the generated table.

Which layout preserves a wide data table best?

Scroll presentation keeps the table’s row and column structure. Choose the layout that fits the data and test its navigation.

Does the generator add a data backend?

No. It exports static HTML and CSS; sorting, filtering and updates are separate features.
