Supported inputs and limits

The IANA registry snapshot was retrieved 1 October 2026 and states an update date of 15 September 2025. It includes 67 individual entries and eight unassigned ranges. Queries are bounded; this page does not fetch the latest registry or diagnose a server. Unused and unassigned values are distinguished. Temporary 104 includes its recorded 13 November 2026 expiry. Private application codes are outside this registry. Search text is limited to 200 characters; at most 50 text matches are shown.

Questions about HTTP Status Code Reference

Does 404 always mean a page was deleted?

The code names the response status, not the site’s history. A missing route, unavailable resource or access policy can affect what a server returns.

Why is 104 marked temporary?

The bundled registry gives it a temporary registration with an expiry. Check the current IANA record before relying on a temporary entry.

Are all numbers from 100 to 599 assigned?

No. The snapshot contains unused entries and unassigned ranges, which this page reports rather than assigning invented names.
